Returns Conditions

RETURNS INFORMATION

Returns only apply to swimwear. Any beachwear, accessories, activewear and skincare products cannot apply for a return.


The product has to be in perfect conditions.  In order to accept the return, a verification has to be succesful. Any product purchased at a discount or using a coupon cannot be exchanged.

 

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

INITIATION / REASON FOR RETURN

  1. ◉ Start a return: Please send us an email detailing the reasons for the return to web@capittana.com
  2. ◉ The email's subject structure must be "RETURN (#Order) - (Customer name)"

 

APPROVAL / AUTHORIZATION

  1. ◉ Wait for the approval from the Capittana team, based on this stated return policy
  2. ◉ Some returns may require additional authorization or communication between the customer and our support team

 

RETURN LABEL

  1. ◉ We will share with you via email a pre-paid shipping label, that you have to place outside the packaging
  2. ◉ This label includes all necessary shipping information to proceed. It is not mandatory to include the packing list you received with your order

 

PACKAGING

  1. ◉ Please pack the items securely to prevent garment damage during the shipping process
  2. ◉ The items must be in the conditions the customer received 

 

TRACKING / INSPECTION

  1. ◉ The customer and the Capittana team must follow the tracking for the return package
  2. ◉ Upon receiving the returned item, the Capittana team will inspects the items to ensure it meets the returns conditions detailed in this page

 

REFUND / EXCHANGE / FEEDBACK

  1. ◉ If the refund items meet the criteria, Capittana will proceeded the refund or return
  2. ◉ We will appreciate your feedback, regarding your return experience

 

CONDITIONS

Items that have been worn, altered, washed, laundered or damaged in any way, or with musty smell, are not going to be accepted. No exceptions will be made. Please avoid getting makeup, deodorant, tanning cream, any bodily fluids and other similar stains on items when trying on. Items received in such condition will be rejected and will be returned to you at your expense.

Capittana will only process returns for swimwear, any other categories cannot apply. Please note that with Bikinis, should either a returned Top/Bottom be rejected for reasons mentioned above, both items will be disposed of or returned to the client.

 

WARRANTY POLICY

Capittana holds a warranty policy just for the following.

  • ◉ Factory defects (unraveled seams, defective garments, fabrics with factory flaws).
  • ◉ If your garment has any of these problems, you can contact us at web@capittana.com to verify the garment and proceed with the repair, return or refund.
  • ◉ The warranty period is 45 days from the date of purchase on the Capittana's website.

Once tags are removed from an item, we are not responsible for any damage that may occur. Items must be in their original condition with all tags attached and any sanitary protection labels in place, to apply for a return.

 

RETURN FOR EXCHANGE

If the customer is not 100% satisfied with the purchase, it can proceed with the exchange of the product for another one, considering the amount of the previous purchase.

Returns for exchanges are accepted within 10 days from the delivery dateReturned or exchanged products must be unworn, unsoiled, or laundered, with all ticketing, tags, and protective shields attached, in the condition the customer received them and in the original box and/or packaging

Return shipping must be paid by the customer (Except for US and Puerto rican orders). Send the package back to us via the prepaid method. We recommend using an insured and traceable method to ensure safe and documented delivery. Exchanged item(s) will not be shipped until the returned item is received and approved for exchange. Exchanges will be processed within 5 business days of being received.

  • ◉ US and Puerto rican Orders: If you would like to make a return, please send an email to web@capittana.com to receive your return label.

 

RETURN FOR REFUND OR STORE CREDIT

If the customer is not 100% satisfied with the purchase and the item requested for an exchange has been discontinued and we are not able to fulfill the request, it can proceed as a store credit or a refund.

Returns for store credits or refunds are accepted within 10 days from the delivery dateReturned products must be unworn, unsoiled, or laundered, with all ticketing, tags, and protective shields attached, in the condition the customer received them and in the original box and/or packaging

  • ◉ Store Credits: Once the item verification has been successful, considering the conditions for returns, a coupon must be created and sent to the customer, in order to use the credit on Capittana's website.
  • ◉ RefundsOnce the item verification has been successful, considering the conditions for returns, Capittana will proceed with the refund automatically. Please note that the refunded amount will appear again in the balance of your card taking into consideration the times considered by your bank.

    TO CONSIDER:

    • ◉ Sale products: Any product purchased at a discount is considered a final sale and cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded. 
    • ◉ Discount coupon: Products purchased with discount coupons are not available for an exchange, return or a refund.

     

    We will appreciate if the customer lets us know the reasons for the return. Any feedback will always help us improve. Capittana will not be held responsible for item(s) lost or damaged in transit. Any merchandise returned to Capittana after the allowed time stated in our policy, will be returned to the customer and an additional shipping fee will be charged. Capittana will ship all soiled, worn, laundered, and damaged items back to the customer, as we can no longer resell the merchandise. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who, in our opinion, makes excessive returns or exchanges.
